Audio restoration is a fine art in itself, BCL studios have been restoring audio for many years. During this time we have seen some interesting projects and audio archive material.
From wax drum recordings to pre World War II recordings on severely damaged audio reel tapes. Each restoration project can be very unique and require different levels of audio skills. Under the BCL studio partner programme we are able to handle any restoration project to a new completed set of digital masters.
Restoring audio is not a simple case of listening and tweaking. The processes involved can be very delicate ranging from oven baking through to locating very specialized individuals and equipment to ensure the restoration process is as successful as it can be.
